The Berkeley Farmers’ Market 20th Annual Holiday Crafts Fair (An Ecology Center Benefit) will be joined on Dec. 3 by California Youth Energy Services (CYES) of the Rising Sun Energy Center. They’ll be running a booth where you can swap your old halogen floor lamp for a new fluorescent one, swap your old incandescent holiday lights for new LED holiday lights, and all strings of lights and halogen lamps can be recycled, for free! Be sure to bring an bill as proof you’re a PG&E customer. Floor lamps must have a 330-watt or higher halogen bulb to qualify.
All this is in addition to California’s finest organic produce, great hot lunch options & local craftspeople & artisans selling a wonderful variety of beautiful & useful handcrafted gifts (ceramics, fine art, jewelry, cards, clothes, tote bags, body products, toys, and more!)
