Hi Ecology Center friends!
We have some wonderful news to share with you all! Together, we were able to donate 57 coats, sweaters, and jackets to Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS).
BOSS has successfully distributed these coats to over 15 residential and shelter programs throughout Alameda County, and we could not have done it without our community’s kindness and active participation.
It was a team effort: on the left is Nancy, the first person to donate coats; while on the left is our Development Director, Erika, donating her winter ski coat! To everyone who donated, thank you for making the winter holidays a little warmer for those in need of coats in our community. Giving your coat a new life with someone in need is not only gracious but also super sustainable.
The over-brimming support is truly amazing, and we are beyond grateful for the community we thrive and grow with. We wish you all happy holidays; stay warm, stay healthy, and stay engaged!
