The 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is now in progress in the sunny city of Durban, South Africa. This conference has been occurring annually since 1995 to assess progress in dealing with climate change and to make decisions and resolutions on the implementation of the Kyoto Protocol.
For those Ecology Center members would like to follow the climate conference talks, Debra Berliner, the Ecology Center’s Climate Action Coordinator, has recommended the following links:
* Oxfam’s Adopt a Negotiator
* One Cimate
* Andy Katz on behalf of the Sierra Club
* UNFCC site on the talks
