Check Out SF Mime Troupe’s “Oil & Water” This Weekend in Live Oak Park

20130723sfmime The San Francisco Mime Troupe is performing their original work, “Oil & Water” in parks around the Bay Area this summer. “Oil & Water” challenges the dangerous energy practices of corporations and the rest of us. For those unfamiliar, the SF Mime Troupe do not pantomime. Using comedy and music, they seek to make you laugh at the absurdities of contemporary life and at the same time, see their causes.” This weekend, July 27th and 28th, they will be bringing their talent to Live Oak Park in North Berkeley. It’s a beautiful location to take in their original work, which this year is two one act plays that are stylistically and musically linked. Ecology Center staff and members of the Berkeley Climate Action Coalition will be on hand at Sunday’s performance, stop by our table and say hi! The outdoor performances begin at 2 PM, and are free to attend. For more details, click here.
