Save the date, Bay Area Seed Interchange Library (BASIL) has its annual Seed Swap shindig coming up, Saturday, March 1st from 7 to 9 PM. This event welcomes both new seed savers and experienced growers alike, and is always a favorite each year. Potluck supper, hoe down music, home-grown garden seeds, and the company of fantastic local gardeners! Come learn about seed saving classes and the Library. BASIL is a project of the Ecology Center, and is going on 15 years. This seed library was a “first” of its kind and has served as a model and inspiration to many other seed libraries across the country. Bring your seeds to swap and food to share, or $10.
