A few times a year, we offer special events for our community of members, who support our work to build a sustainable, healthy, and just future. We have one of these events coming up next Sunday, November 23rd! Current members are invited to come shop our Store with a special discount of 20% off purchases, free giveaways, cider, and treats.
We’re also leading a Food Makers Walking Tour the same day. Members are invited to come explore by foot the vibrant local food community in West Berkeley. Ecology Center staff will lead the way to visit four neighborhood food producers: Cultured Pickle Shop, Ancient Organics Ghee, Morell’s Bread, and Standard Fare. After our visits, we’ll head back to the Store for dessert with Coracao Chocolates. A take-home gift will be offered to participants from our makers along the tour!
