Our series of free, tasty cooking demos at the Farmers’ Market continues this week at our Thursday North Berkeley Farmers’ Market. HuNia’s Kitchen will teach us how to savor the flavor of late spring-early summer with a recipe for Savory Strawberry Kale Salad with Stone Fruit and Goat Cheese. HuNia will also share the benefits of apple cider vinegar and introduce us to a new salt substitute made from olives.
The focus of our cooking demo series is to share recipes that are healthy, affordable, and simple to prepare. Free tastes and recipe cards will be given out to make it easy for you to bring the recipe home. The cooking demo will run from 3:30 – 6:30 PM.
