Vio Handcrafted Pastries is a Asian-American and woman owned operation started by Vionica Zhang in January of 2021. Vionica attended pastry school years before and was inspired to start her own business after managing small, mom and pop restaurants and bakeries for years. She started her business in her own home and one year later got the opportunity to purchase a spot in downtown Vacaville for production. Vio uses real ingredients on her products (all coloring is derived from homemade fruit puree) and strives to be as inclusive of her community as possible: she loves offering plenty of vegan options and a wide variety of creative flavors that appeal to everyone, from classic chocolate with sprinkles to ube and pandan. She’s passionate about what she does and strives to spread happiness through her gift of baking!
