Farmer's Market Vendors

Andy immigrated to California from Poland in 2001. After landing a job as a farmworker in Lodi, and eventually began selling produce on their behalf – at the Berkeley Farmers’ Markets. He eventually transitioned to work at a Thai restaurant in Berkeley for better pay, which gave him the opportunity to hone the kitchen skills his mother instilled in him back in Poland. Ready to be his own boss, Andy began renting a commercial kitchen space and vending at the South Berkeley Farmers’ Market in 2005. He joined the Downtown Berkeley Farmers’ Market soon after, and has been here ever since.

Fun Fact: He speaks 5 languages fluently, and his favorite thing to cook for his wife and two daughters is Korean bbq.
