2007 class guide for Alameda County Waste Management Authority and Alameda County Source Reduction and Recycling Board’s Master Composter Training Program. Master Composters learn compost and soil science, and Bay-Friendly Gardening techniques, as well as community outreach skill. Goals of the program include: creating experts in the fields of home composting, worm bins, compost’s role in soil health and Bay-Friendly Gardening, waste diversion, education diverse communities in the art and science of compost by organizing and presenting workshops, and more.
