A San Francisco public policy think tank. Through research, analysis, public education, and advocacy, SPUR promotes good planning and good government. Representing the range of the Bay Area’s diverse viewpoints, SPUR members work on solving our toughest problems: how to lower the cost of housing, increase the speed of public transit, ensure a viable and diverse job base, make new buildings beautiful, and restore the public’s trust in government. Also rents out space for events.
