This group publishes a monthly calendar of neighborhood activities. The calendar is available both on paper and on-line. Geographically, the “neighborhood” is centered around Lake Merritt, Oakland, California. The group is occasionally referred to as “ecovillage,” in the sense of being a social ecovillage rather than a residential village. Copies of the printed calendar are usually available at: The Leaning Tower, The Coffee Mill, Coffee with a Beat, The Prism Cafe and at The Grand Lake Neighborhood Center.
