The portal provides an innovative statewide carbon footprint calculator for California households, individuals and communities, including links to useful solutions for improving energy efficiency, and for reducing your overall carbon footprint. The calculator was developed by The California Air Resources Board, Berkeley Institute of the Environment (BIE) and the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory at UC Berkeley, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, California Energy Commission, and Next 10.
