California Air Resources Board (CARB)

The mission of the California Air Resources Board is to promote and protect public health, welfare and ecological resources through the effective and efficient reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering the effects on the economy of the state. The California Air Resources Board Collection (library) consists of some 10,000 books and reports, 200+ journals, and 120,000 microfiche covering all aspects of air pollution and related fields. The collection is primarily for use by ARB or Cal /EPA staff for research but is also open to the public, 8am to 4pm, M-F.
