The Berkeley Fire Department is proud to sponsor the new Berkeley Chipping Program! The program provides for the curbside pickup, chipping, and disposal of vegetation material from residential properties.
To participate you MUST book a reservation no later than the Friday preceding the week of your neighborhood’s event.​
Piles are required to be ready at the curb by 7:00 AM Monday and will be picked up by Thursday evening of the same week.
If you no longer require a pickup, please cancel your reservation by following the instructions in the email you received or by clicking on the Manage Reservation link at the top of the homepage. Failing to cancel in a timely manner has a financial impact on our program and prevents us from giving your reservation to someone on the waitlist. Thank you for your cooperation!
