April 4, 2015

Our Spring Plant Sale is planned for the first two weekends in April, when we gardeners get the itch to start thinking about our Spring Gardens – winter’s frosts are largely over and the rains are slowing down. At this early date, there are many crops that can go in the ground even if the temperatures hover in the 50’s and 60’s. We offer hundreds of heirloom varieties of brassicas such as broccoli, cabbage, kale and collards; salad greens like arugula and salads-in-a-six-pack; colorful lettuces and chards; alliums such as onions, leeks and scallions; edible flowers; and culinary herbs. Plant sales runs the whole weekend, and runs 10am – 5pm each day.

Start: April 4, 2015 10:00 am
End: April 5, 2015 5:00 pm
Cost: Free

Join us on Sundays during our 2-weekend Spring Plant Sale event, and enjoy a tour of our land and community. See mature plants that were cultivated in our Nursery thriving in our gardens and landscapes.

Sturdy shoes, brimmed hat or warm layers (depending on weather), and personal water bottles are recommended. Please note that the terrain is very hilly and unpaved with dirt or gravel paths.
