Blossom Bluff Orchards

The Loewen family’s goal has been to establish a reputation for Blossom Bluff as offering unique and heirloom varieties picked at peak maturity. To this end, they have planted over 150 varieties of stone fruit, citrus, persimmons, and pomegranates. After 15 years of farming sustainably and maintaining California Clean membership, their farm chose to become certified organic by CCOF in 2006.

The farm is named after the bluff overlooking the King’s River, where the farmhouses are perched. In spring, the blossoms on the farm are beautiful, and the steep hillside leading to their riverbottom property is green with new grass, poppies, elderberry bushes, wildflowers, and habitat for beneficial insects.
