The Foundation Center supports and improves philanthropy by promoting public understanding of the field and helping grant seekers succeed. The Center collects, organizes, and communicates information on U.S. philanthropy; conducts and facilitates research on trends in the field; provides education and training; and ensures public access to information and services through its Web site, print and electronic publications, five library/learning centers, and a national network of over 200 cooperating collections. Assists grant seekers in finding appropriate funding sources. Web site features a searchable online directory of resources.
