Wishes to establish a continuous Ridgelends Preserve in Alameda, Contra Costa and Santa Clara counties. Hopes to link state and regional parks with hiking and equestrian trails. Works with all levels of government to protect and acquire ridge land areas. PARC’s big project is the Bay Ridge Trail, which runs extensively through Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
