Want to get a taste of Phat Beets Produce for Breakfast or Lunch? Come stop by CrossRoads Cooperative Cafe to grab cup of fair trade Ubuntu coffee and a sandwich featuring local produce from farmers that work with Phat Beets Produce. CrossRoads Cafe is worker owned and operated LLC made up of un and under-employed residents of the Oakland Flatlands. The site also hosts the Phat Beets Produce office and the Saturday North Oakland Farmers Market and is future home to the Beets Incubator Kitchen program for aspiring, under-resourced micro-food entrepreneurs and a small healthy foods bodega. CrossRoads Cafe is now open daily with limited menu: M-F 7-2 pm (Coffee, Soup, Salads, Sandwiches), Sat 10-3pm, and Full Brunch Menu Sunday 10-3pm.
