The Ecology Center is co-sponsoring a week of activities, including tours, receptions, speaking engagements and meetings all about Zero Waste. Attendees will include discard management and recycling professionals, service providers and activists as well as local, regional, state and national elected officials and policy-makers and members of the media. Events included are:
Youth Convergence,
Tour of San Francisco Zero Waste facilities,
Northern California Recycling Association (NCRA)’s Annual Recycling Update,
International Dialogue organized by Zero Waste International Alliance,
Zero Waste Business Recognition and Certification Meeting, and
Tour of East Bay Zero Waste facilities and party at Urban Ore
Register for specific events or for the whole week on NCRA’s website. They have scholarships available for students, or volunteer opportunities in exchange for admission.
