Mighty Times: The Children’s March

This documentary tells the story of how the young people of Birmingham, Alabama braved fire hoses and police dogs in 1963 and brought segregation to it’s knees. Their heroism moved President Kennedy to introduce the Civil Rights Act of 1964, a key piece of federal legislation that transformed not just the South, but the entire nation. Running time 40 minutes.
