Lou Vue

Lou Vue left the janitorial business to begin farming in 1990 because of his family’s interest in agriculture, and his desire to have more independence in his work. Initially he grew for the wholesale market, but in 1995 he began selling through farmers’ markets. Lou Vue says, “I keep my customers happy by always trying to ‘do the right thing’ in farming and offering a unique variety of top quality produce, including bok choy, okra, Chinese broccoli, daikon, and many other items. My children often accompany me to the farmer’s market and enjoy interacting with customers.”
