The first step of going zero waste is figuring out what items or packaging to eliminate. Take that step with our live waste auditing demonstrations! The event will include tips on how to do a waste audit at home, helpful ideas on how to replace problematic plastics in your life, and Q&A – so be sure to bring any materials that you don’t know how to sort! Attendees can also enjoy discounted shopping on plastic-free alternatives at our EcoStore.

This event takes place in close proximity to AC transit bus lines 72, 72M, 72R, and 802. The event space is wheel-chair accessible with access to a gender-neutral restroom.

Waste auditing demonstrations will take place between 11am and 1pm. Feel free to come and go – and bring items you don’t know how to sort!
