Wreathmaking Workshop

Learn how to make beautiful gift wreaths! Naturalist James Wilson will demonstrate how to construct a lovely seasonal wreath using plant materials cut and collected from the Regional Parks Botanic Garden. James will explain how to make a wreath while also providing information on the plants used to construct your wreath. You will be able to make your own one-of-a-kind wreath to take home and show off to your family and friends, or to give as a present to that special someone. Instructor Bio: A recently retired Naturalist and Supervisor for the Interpretation Department with East Bay Regional Park District. James Wilson has ten years of experience teaching wreathmaking workshops at Tilden Nature Area. James, was taught the practice of wreathmaking by retired Naturalist Lina Yamoto, who was trained by Garden Director Wayne Roderick at the Regional Parks Botanic Garden.
