The Plastic Crisis: Presented by the Hillside Club and Ecology Center

Plastic pollution has reached catastrophic levels! Plug into efforts to reduce plastic use at the community level.

Get a SNEAK PEAK at parts of the upcoming film The Story of Plastic with film maker Stiv Wilson sharing his experiences of filming the crisis around the world.

Presentations by Ecology Center Exec. Director Martin Bourque, and Minna Toloui, EC Program Manager. Moderated by Arlene Baxter, Hillside Club VP and OBAR Climate Action Committee Chair.

  • Find out from the source what IS and is NOT really recyclable!
  • Explore some fun DIY solutions to replace common plastic goods
  • Check out NEW & favorite plastic-free products. Vendors in attendance: an Ecology Center Store pop-up, the FillGood.co products allowing you to use your own container, and other plastic-alternative goods!
  • Hear updates on new local and state laws
