Sprouts Family Farm Day: The Journey of a Seed

Saturday | February 15, 2020 | 10:00 am — 2:00 pm

Seeds hold the potential for new life on the farm, and March is the time to plant! We will explore the eco-mitzvah of l’dor v’dor, which honors the wisdom shared from generation to generation. Together with other families, we will explore how seeds do just that! We will experience the wonders of seeds and their heritage, plant flowers for the spring and summer, and make art with seeds.  This will be a magical journey of discovery, play, and exploration on our farm. The veggies, the animals, the soil, the songs, the stories, and the games – it’s the best of Sprouts Summer Camp all in one morning!   From 10:00 -11:30 am, we will gather and explore the farm. At 11:30 am we’ll settle in the shade and eat snacks as a community (please bring your own)! This program is for families with children 3-5 years old. If you have a toddler, feel free to bring them along and explore the farm at your own pace.  Sprouts Family Farm Days are $20 per family if you register in advance and $30 at the door. Spaces are limited and participants should register in advance to guarantee a space in the program. If this ticket price is prohibitive to you and your family, please email lili@urbanadamah.org.  This event is in partnership w. PJ Library Bay Area.  We look forward to spending the morning with you and your family!
