The 30th Annual Recycling Update—a leading Zero Waste conference in Northern California for resource management professionals—is coming to San Francisco State University’s McKenna Theater on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
Hosted by the Northern California Recycling Association and co-sponsored by the Ecology Center, this one-day event will include 20+ speakers from across California and the West Coast, each of whom will give a fast-paced, 10-minutes presentation on the latest innovations, programs, and policies. Topics will cover reuse, repair, composting, outreach, extended producer responsibility (EPR), and edible food recovery.
