Learn How to Build a Hoop Greenhouse, Urban Farming, Food and Fun

Saturday | November 02, 2019 | 9:30 am — 4:30 pm

Learn How To Build a Hoop Greenhouse in Your Backyard!  Sustainable Farm is having a class on how to build a hoop greenhouse approximately 20′ X 60′ for plant propagation. It’s a DYI project with PVC Conduit and wood framing and polyethylene plastic covering. We should be able to construct it in one day with expert carpenter Chuck Carpenter leading the class. You can learn how to build a smaller one in your own back yard.  Participants will also be doing some urban farming. There is lots to do!
They have harvested over 5000 pounds of fresh produce for charity in less than a year, from 1/8 acre of land. Now, they need to expand.
Directions: Type CoCo San Sustainable Farm  into GPS to find us at 5500 Imhoff Drive (across from 5501 if you can’t find it with mapping).  We are 1/2 mile east of where the map here shows us.
