Join us for a fermentation demo and tasting with Karen Diggs, chef, certified nutritionist, culinary instructor, and founder of Kraut Source. Karen will teach us some fascinating fermentation facts, including tips on how to make delicious and crunchy pickles, killer kimchi, and sparkling cultured beverages. Karen will demonstrate how to make a lacto-fermented beverage as well as fermented veggies at home with her innovative Kraut Source, a plastic-free airlock that prevents many of the problems that can occur during fermentation. In addition, she will discuss the power of fermented foods to boost the health of your microbiome, strengthen immunity, and assist anti-aging. Afterwards, attendees will be able to sample Karen’s fermented creations!
