Functional Collage Workshop
Saturday | February 22, 2020 | 3:00 pm — 5:00 pm
Ecology Center Classroom | 2530 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94702
Create a beautiful tray or unique piece of decorative art from upcycled and found items!
Textile Artist, Judith Schonebaum, who has created her own collection of clothing, accessories and more made of recycled and repurposed materials continues her Ecology Center classroom reuse series as she guides you in the creative process of creating something new from old.
In this workshop she will show you how to create your own unique frame from found, handmade and exotic papers. Your dual use creation can serve as a mirror on the wall or a table centerpiece for candles or flowers.
Bring a small frame with wide or deep molding and any unusual or interesting papers that you would like to incorporate into your piece.
Materials will be available for $5-$10 depending on your choices.
Becoming a member is easy and if you sign up now you will receive a $5 discount on your class fee! Simply go to ecologycenter.org/donate or join when you register for the workshop at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/88967284543.
