Explorations in Traditional Western Herbalism

Sunday | September 14, 2014 | 6:30 pm — Monday | November 24, 2014 | 9:30 pm

Learn the ancient and modern traditions of herbal medicine. This class is open to anyone with an interest in learning the craft of herbalism to care for your health, and the health of your family, friends and community. Explorations in Traditional Western Herbalism offers students a strong foundation in herbal healthcare, basic nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices to promote and enhance well-being. No prior training, experience or pre-requisites are required.

This class blends the scientific with earth-based traditional wisdom, and balances indoor classroom time with exciting outdoor daylong herbal adventures. We’ve broken the class into “Seasons”. Students may join at the beginning of any Season. No matter when you begin your studies with us, completion of all 4 Seasons qualifies a student to perform self-care and family Herbalism.

Class generally meets two Monday evenings each month (from 6:30 to 9:30pm) as well as two Sunday daylong adventures (10am to 2 or 4pm-ish).

Space is limited, register online.
