Touro University California welcomes you to attend the 5th annual, free Social Justice in Public Health Lecture Series. This year’s topic is Environmental Justice and Public Health where speakers will discuss how environmental risks are not equally distributed and what that means for the health of the communities affected.

Veronica Eady is Assistant Executive Officer of the California Air and Resources Board, responsible for overseeing the Environmental Justice Activities of the board. Her role is to serve as the primary internal and external contact for CARB on the environmental justice issues and concerns providing policy consultation and recommendations for CARB staff. She also participates in decision making during the development and implementation of all major CARB programs to ensure that environmental justice and tribal concerns are considered.
