Discussion Topic: How Do We Talk About Climate Change

Having conversations about Climate Change can be very difficult and can surface uncomfortable feelings for many. How do we have these conversations with people who don’t believe in Climate Change?

A discussion group for sustainability fanatics! Are you passionate about environmental issues? Are you interested in learning and talking about current sustainability topics with members of your community? Look no further- join the Ecology Center for our Eco Lunch Bunch Discussion Series! The Eco Lunch Bunch offers sociable, interactive, discussion-based sessions covering various topics, such as: food literacy, energy, plastics recycling, and climate action. To encourage group participation, sessions will be limited to 10-12 people, so sign up today!

Here’s how it works:

1. Register for a discussion of interest

2. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the digital meeting link and homework assignment materials (readings, videos, podcasts, etc.) to review in preparation for the scheduled discussion

3. The day of our meetup, grab some lunch, join the discussion forum using your registration link, and participate in an engaging, facilitated conversation with your fellow peers. You never know what you might learn when great minds come together!

Once you sign up you will receive a registration confirmation email that includes a homework assignment to be completed prior to the discussion meeting. Please come prepared to discuss the resources shared. Only sign up if you are interested in attending and please let us know if you cannot attend so your spot can be filled by someone else.
