Climate Change Summits: Dams
Friday | November 01, 2019 | 7:00 pm — 8:30 pm
Ed Roberts Campus | 3075 Adeline Street, Berkeley, CA 94703
NCSE is committed to having evidence-based climate change education in public schools. As part of our outreach efforts nationwide, we’ve created a Climate Change Summit Series. During the Bay Area Science Festival, we are bringing this role-playing activity to Berkeley. Your community had a dam built in 1937, but the infrastructure is falling apart. Should you repair it, replace it or remove it altogether? Consider economic and environmental concerns, while also factoring in the long term climate change. Can your community reach a decision before time runs out?
