Join Shereel Washington in this introduction to the rich history and knowledge of African Americans herbal healers, past and present. The presentation will also touch upon important staples in African American foodways. Samplings of ‘Know your Roots’ tea will be available to take home (while supplies last), as well as a special recipe for collard greens.
