Berkeley’s New Zero Waste Strategic Plan – Public Input Meeting

The City of Berkeley is working to improve and expand its recycling and composting programs, and reduce waste going to landfills by developing a Zero Waste Strategic Plan – a road map to achieve our waste reduction vision. The plan will identify policies, programs and infrastructure needed to meet the City’s Climate Action and Zero Waste goals. The planning process will unfold over the next six months and includes needed engagement from the Berkeley community through public meetings.
