Berkeley Recycling and Transfer Station – Preliminary Design Workshops

Friday | March 15, 2019 | 2:00 pm — 4:00 pm

Berkeley Public Library, North Branch | 1170 The Alameda , Berkeley, CA 94707

The City of Berkeley welcomes your input to re-imagine the City’s Solid Waste and Recycling Transfer Station to meet Berkeley’s Zero Waste goal. During the workshops held in January, community members brainstormed design concepts for a new Zero Waste Facility. These concepts have been analyzed and drafted into preliminary plans. Each session will have the same content. The goal for these sessions is to finalize two options for the City’s Solid Waste & Recycling Transfer Station. These preliminary designs will be used in the environmental review phase of the feasibility study. Light refreshments will be served. This is a Zero Waste event – please bring your own reusable beverage container.
