Thursday | March 11, 2021 | 6:00 pm — 8:00 pm
Garden For the Environment:
Beginning Beekeeping: The Basics and Starting a Hive is an online introductory workshop on honeybees and beekeeping practices whether you’re starting a backyard hive or are just curious about bees. Veteran San Francisco beekeeper Paul Koski will cover equipment and tools needed, bee biology basics, and will provide practical knowledge to get your beekeeping journey started. The workshop will include lecture, slides, videos, and plenty of time for Paul to answer your beekeeping questions.
The class is designed for absolute beginners so no prerequisite knowledge is required. We will have more beginning beekeeping workshops this year, and each will emphasize what is happening in a beehive throughout the seasons.Visit Event Website >>
