7th Annual Ride Electric at the Harvest Festival

Shifting to 100% electric road transportation is our roadmap to a clean, green energy future and to meeting California’s ambitious goal to cut greenhouse gases by 48% below 1990 levels by 2030. So join us at the 7th Annual Ride Electric event at the Berkeley Harvest Festival, where you can check out electric vehicles and learn about options for affording them. Plus, the Berkeley Harvest Festival will be a lively, family friendly event with live music, a seed swap, food contest, kids zone and representatives from the City of Berkeley departments.

  • Test ride electric bikes and scooters, including seated scooters (must be 18+ years
  • E-scooter wheelchair attachments will be available. For more information about accessible e-scooters, please visit Veo and Lime Assist.
  • See city fleet electric vehicles and talk to local EV owners
  • Learn about credits, rebates, grants and loans
  • Sign up for income qualified discount mobility options through Veo Access and Lime Access for electric scooters, and Bay Wheels Bikeshare for All for classic and electric bikes
  • Enjoy family friendly crafts, games, food, live music and more at the City’s Harvest Festival
  • Street parking is limited; please consider taking BART (North Berkeley) or AC Transit (#52). Bike parking available.

Please sign up here to volunteer at Ride Electric. Volunteers are needed to showcase their electric bikes, talk about their experience driving electric cars, monitor the test ride route, and/or help with set-up and take down. For questions about the event email electric@berkeleyca.gov.
