The Watershed Management Professional Program (WMPP) brings simple watershed concepts like land management and restoration as well as the everyday complexities underlying them, into sharp focus for professionals engaged in watershed protection, restoration and management activities. We use participant’s experience in combination with skillful presentations by knowledgeable experts to prepare the class for the complex and intertwining challenges of: Law, Social and Legal Processes, Ecology, Physics and other Scientific Disciplines, Economics, Community Organizing, Dynamics of Social Change, and other challenges inherent in watershed management.
