A nonprofit organization promoting healthy communities by encouraging the productive use of city soil and improving access to fresh local produce. Projects include a nursery, an at-cost produce stand, a community farm, a community harvest project of backyard fruit trees, and free community education. Sells red worms. Also sells medicinal herb and veggie seedlings, dried & fresh herbs, and honey at the Berkeley Farmers’ Markets. They also have a community garden located at 59th Street in Oakland.
