This organization brings green jobs, clean energy, and economic opportunity to The Bay Area through solar installation training for low-income residents, innovative job creation and placement services to empower emerging leaders of the green economy. The training program lasts for 15 weeks and includes environmental literacy, construction, energy efficiency and solar installation. Additionally, Solar Richmond provides students with hands-on installation experiences in the field, on low-income Richmond residences.
