Demonstration site for renewable energy as well as retail store for GAIAM/Real Goods/Jade Mountain. 12 acres of land are used to teach, do research and hold festivals (especially the annual SolFest) on renewable energy, agriculture, and other important aspects of sustainable living. Admission and self-guided tours are free. Specialized tours (family, school, professional) available for a fee. Open to the public. Real Goods retail store, near by, sells solar PV equipment, compost tumblers, compost toilets, and rain barrels. Public biodiesel pump on site. There are also campgrounds.
