SGERC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization working to preserve and protect the habitat for endangered species of the Santa Cruz Mountains bioregion, focussing on the San Mateo County coast. They work through community education, monitoring, research, outreach, habitat preservation and restoration.
They will continue to support stream monitoring, habitat restoration, education, more hiking outings, the annual benefit concert, and many other exciting and fun projects. The SGERC is chartered to educate people about the coastside’s natural wonders.
