Recology San Francisco

Use of the facility is free and for San Francisco residents only. Proof of residency is required (e.g. drivers license). Open Thursday – Saturday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Facility is NOT open Sunday-Wednesday and some holidays.) Residents may also request a pick up at their homes.
Safely and securely dispose of medicine at a drop-off site near you. The website shows 13 volunteer pharmacies and all ten San Francisco police stations that allow San Francisco residents to responsibly dispose of medicine. The police stations will accept controlled substances. The website offers locations for needle and syringe disposal. This program is funded in part by grants from pharmaceutical manufacturers.
