The California Hotel is a low-income housing development in West Oakland where we manage a greenhouse enterprise program and garden. The Garden and Greenhouse are also home to our Garden Enterprise Program. In this program, People’s Grocery employs California Hotel residents to help with plant start sales around the Bay Area. The garden entrance is located at the back of the building on Chestnut street. Visit website for hours of operation.
