Mycological Society of San Francisco

The Mycological Society of San Francisco is a nonprofit corporation formed in 1950 to promote the study and exchange of information about mushrooms. Many members are amateurs who are interested in mushrooms for a variety of reasons: cooking, cultivating, experiencing the out-of-doors, and learning to properly identify mushrooms. Other members are professional mycologists who participate in activities and may serve as teachers or advisors.
