The irecycle@school program provides technical assistance in designing and/or enhancing a recycling program for Alameda County as well as provide free 4Rs educational services. Field Trips to the irecycle@school Education Center located at Waste Management Inc.’s Davis Street Transfer Station in San Leandro, offers students an opportunity to learn first-hand how curbside materials are sorted, separated and packaged at a working material recovery facility and transfer station.
