Almost 30,000 Girl Scouts are registered in the service area of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties. They reflect a broad range of cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds, speak many different languages, and represent the richness of an international community such as the Bay Area. Providing girls with mentorships, science and math education, outdoor exploration, and activities that build leadership skills self-awareness and self-esteem.
